Bates Nut Farm Post 1 – (click to comment)
Well our big push at Bates was this past weekend. Thank you to all who visited our booth. The weather was beautiful on Saturday and a little cooler on Sunday (I actually wanted a jacket but didn’t have it – I think it is buried somewhere in my closet and it has not seen light for a year). Lots of visitors although sells were lower than last year.
Lots of fudge, funnel cakes, roasted corn on the cob and popcorn smells filled the air. Fortunately I can’t leave my booth or I might have enjoyed some of those a little too much! Bates is so enjoyable. If you haven’t made it out there, you must! Where else can your heart be warmed by seeing people just stop and dance and laugh. Fun live music and many walking thier dogs is a customary sounds and sights. Amazing that kids can giggle and laugh without a gameboy or television!
We have some open crops and classes coming up – so don’t forget to review the calendar by clicking HERE to see what’s coming up. The class for the Acrylic book is SOLD OUT but I will try to get another going for those that are still interested so send me an email and let me know.

Don’t forget we are at Bates all of OCTOBER -and there will BE HUGE SALES – so come by!
Pictures are courtesy of our friend Bruce who stopped by on Saturday. Talk to you all soon!
